The only sport in the Wizarding World which can rival Quidditch for popularity, is the morbid game of  Cannon fan watching, as they suffer through decade after decade of dismay. Not only have the Cannons not won the League Cup for 120 years, but in the subsequent period they have reached the finals just 7 times, and finished last a whopping 66 times. 

Based on the evidence of last year and the unchanged squad, 2012 looks likely to be wooden-spoon No.67. The Cannons primary aim must surely be to at least match and, dare they think it, even top last year's achievement of two wins from their twelve games. They can't hope for anything more than that.
