The future is bright for the League’s oldest and most popular team. A plethora of young exciting stars make up their roster, contrasted by the assured presence of old hands Oliver Wood in goal and Seeker Donaghan Kiddell. Last year’s third place stop on the table was an impressive feat as few expected success to come to this young group quite so quickly. But United’s inexperience was exposed in the finals when they crashed to consecutive losses, ending their championship dreams.

A League Cup is surely due Puddlemere’s way sooner rather than later. It may not be quite yet time for it this year, but on their day Puddlemere can beat any team and they will be definite Top Four contenders.
